Check your electric cables and sockets.
Remove all the discs and usb devices from the computer.
If your computer is slow can you delete or move any of the files from your hard drive onto a disc or other storage device? Photos and music files take up quite a lot of space and can slow your computer down.
Have you installed some new software recently? If so and you have started having problems try uninstalling it.
Is your computer still under warranty?
